Children are at the heart of our church family and join us for worship every Sunday.

Child-friendly church services every week
We aim to make our services interactive and easy to understand so that all children and young people can fully take part in worship. Children are provided with an activity bag full of fun things for them to do to help them explore their faith.
Junior church 2nd Sunday each month
On the second Sunday of every month children (from the age of 3 years upwards) and young people are invited to leave the adults and go into our Coffee Lounge where they interactively explore different bible stories through arts and crafts, music, games and discussion.
Youth camps for young people
Children and young people are often invited to join events with other churches and youth groups. This year we joined the Wessex Synod children’s and youth camps, and joined together with Barton Youth Club for a trip to Jump Inc. Bicester!
Recent holiday clubs and more…
Here are some photos from our recent summer and Easter holiday clubs! We have more fun activities planned so please regularly visit our website and Facebook page for updates. To join the mailing list and keep updated about our events please e-mail outreach@urccollinwood.org.uk.
We’ve explored Superheroes of the bible including David, Gideon, Ruth and Jesus. We’ve done fun activities such as singing, karate, archery, football, dancing, arts & crafts, and even superhero training!
We’ve collaborated with Naturehood to look at minibeasts in the water, in the air and in the earth. We’ve done arts and crafts, played games and explored. And during our Harvest festival service we thought about our great big God and how he made all these beasts… and he made us too!
