Worship

Our Sunday morning services begin at 9:30 am, except on the first Sunday of each month (see below).  On the second Sunday of each month everyone is welcome to share in communion during the worship. These services all follow a fairly traditional format with hymns, bible readings, prayers and a sermon given by the minister. However, our worship can also include times for discussion, musical offerings and members of the congregation sharing their testimonies. On the 2nd Sunday of the month we normally have Bible Study after the service followed by a bring-and-share lunch. Our Sunday school, the rainbow club, is available for young people to join on the third Sunday of each month.

On the first Sunday of each month we have an all-age worshop that begins at 10am, and which is run by numerous members of the congregation. During this worship we explore our faith in a more informal way through arts & crafts, story telling, interactive prayer, games, music and of course…cake! We aim to create a relaxed environment, where people of all ages can come together to develop their understanding and explore challenging topics, in a fun and varied manor. You can see some pictures from previous services below. Our next all-age worship will be on Sunday 1st April when we will be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus during our Easter Service.

All our services tend to run for approximately one hour after which we have tea and coffee in our coffee lounge, which everyone is welcome to. If you’d like to come and meet members of our congregation, but aren’t too sure about attending a service, please feel free to come along and have a drink and chat with us from 10:30 am (11:00 am on the first Sunday of the month) in the coffee lounge, which is very clearly sign-posted.
